what to expect

 

• Both competitive and recreational sessions
  At Roundwood the timetable is divided between competitive leagues with a number of formats, friendly roll up sessions and social sessions so there is something for everyone. We also enter a number of teams in county and national competitions.

 

• Beginners encouraged
  For non-bowlers or beginners we initially offer free coaching sessions. Bowls and shoes can be provided so there is no financial commitment to make until you are sure the game is for you. There is nothing to lose. We have special junior bowls in bright colours to encourage the younger bowler - so bring the family.

 

• Relaxed atmosphere and a friendly welcome
  The bowls arena has it's own bar which has recently been refurbished providing a perfect setting to meet with friends to enjoy a drink or meal before or after a game.
