Roundwood Indoor Bowls Club

Situated in Taverham, just 5 minutes from the Broadland Northway, 10 minutes from the Southern bypass and just 15 minutes from Norwich, Roundwood Bowls was founded in 1989 by John and Sharon Hipperson.

In 2006 the club was purchased by the current owners Mary and Graham Tuddenham who have since extensively developed the bar and social areas. They also host Weddings and Functions throughout the year. Click here to visit their website.

In 2011 the club moved to its current format as a members club and we now rent the rinks and facilities from the owners and have since made considerable improvements to the rinks and added an electronic scoreboard and LED lighting.

“Roundwood Bowls is renowned for being a very friendly and sociable club – come and join us!”

Roundwood is renowned for being a very friendly and sociable club and gives its members more social roll-ups and opportunities for casual play than most other clubs in Norfolk.

We have an extensive selection of internal leagues and we participate in both Ladies and Mens county leagues, national competitions and enjoy visits from touring clubs across the country.

Roundwood Bowls Club are also members of Disability Bowls England and we have the equipment for bowlers with varied disabilities to come along and enjoy a game.

Social events are held throughout the year including quizzes, bingo and hog roasts.
